Brad; The correct size #s for CMP Veh are 31/2". Gregg's books among others cite this as being correct. I have a set of brass letter/number stencils in 3", and the cost of the 31/2" is over $60 per set. If you would like to borrow mine............ who gives a rats ass for a 1/2". A man on a galloping horse would never know.

i use 3 in on my carrier and it looks just fine, and 3 in is what the US army still uses. :)
