Cliff,

A Morris Commercial 15cwt, looks like a CS8 (six cyl engine), by the aero screens and open cab, but the brush bar is more like a C4 ( four cyl engine). It is possible that late CS8 had this type of bar.

Looks like it belonged to the AEME fire brigade, all I can say is that it appears they built it themselves :p

looking at the file again it appears it was built using salvaged parts.

Not Air Force related but of interest nonetheless to our merry band of brothers. These two views are of a royal Canadia Army Service Corps fire truck before getting kitted out.

Thanks Clive:

1937 Ford with interesting rear wheel equipment.
Rather rare to see that size vehicle with single rear tyres/wheels.

A Hearse?

Hello,

Isn't that a hearse, not a fire engine?

I believe the pegs sre there to hold the coffin in place.

No need for dual rear tyres, with just a coffin to carry.

Hi Bill

I have some other detailed photographs of this fire tender, The trailer carries a Jupiter pump built by GM-H. The truck is of course a C15A.

Tomorrow I'll post a couple with the nomenclature.

Cute, isn't it.
