Vehicle Assembly in the field
1 Attachment(s)
While browsing the Pictures Australia site I came across these 3 photos of GMC-CCKW's being assembled on a production line in New Guinea. I also believe that well worn trucks were rebuilt using these 'facilities' as well.
I also have (I think) other photos showing the assembly of British trucks in India and other parts of the world if anyone thinks they may be of interest. cheers Cliff:salute: Photo one |

Morning CLiff
Good idea to include assembly items from all theatres of the war. I have a few which i will dig out plus some good info on Macks in KD form Les |
Les I would be very interested in the Mack information especially if it is the NR series Mack.
thanks Cliff:salute: |
