Looking at the spoked front wheel it could be a captured Aussie International or it could be a Mack or similar but I believe the ID lies in that spoked wheel.

Hi Cliff
The 4 and 5 ton Corn Binder had that wheel..
I posted a picture of it on the forum a while back..
Maybe an early K series...

May I throw in another thought here.
It may well be an Inter, based on the wheel type as you two say.

However, the K25/K30 Studebakers used the same wheels and if you blow the photo up in size, the headlamp position is more typical of the Stude than the Inter. Two other things I noticed are that what little you can see of the bonnet louvres look also more Stude than Inter and I think I see a brush guard in front of the radiator, a trademark of the ex French Contract Studebakers.

Neither of these should have ended up in North Africa that I am aware of but here we are.

Any thoughts??
Bill

Bill after looking again I think you are right about it being an ex-French contract Studebaker. What I took to be an Aussie style wooded rear bed was a mistake and it is more like the US wooden style beds.

Cheers
