Up The Blue

See http://www.ngaiopress.com/upblue.htm for an account of a Kiwi soldier's service during World War II with the Second New Zealand Division.

Hanno, you devil!!

THIS looks like a first-class read, a real primary source that fills a large hole in WWII literature.

Did you check out some of the other titles Ngaio offers?

This will cost me money. Thank you for the heads-up!

 :salute:

Pursuant to this . . .

I just went looking for Jeff Plowman's website on Kiwi Armour and it seems to have flown (oops, wrong metaphor considering . . . .) the coop. Anyone out thete in this ether have any idea where it went?

Seriously, Ngaio Press has some neat stuff. Thanks again, Hanno.

Are there any similar Canadian publishers?

Bob

Up the blue

I read this book a few years ago, It helped to get a feel of what my Grandfather and Greatuncles on both sides of our family went through during the Nth African and Italian campaigns, An excellent read I would strongly reccomend it to anyone interested. Theres been quite a few books written in the last couple of years of personel expereinces of ex service men. Another very good read is "Night After Night "by Max Lambert about New Zealanders in Bomber Command, Truly amazing how these young blokes struggled with destroyed planes to get back home again. anyway good reading. David.
