News: Small earthquake hits eastern Canada

An earthquake hit southern Quebec province, in eastern Canada near the US border, causing no damage, according to the Geological Survey of Canada.

The epicenter of the 4.2-magnitude quake, which hit Monday morning, was located some 20 kilometers (12.4 miles) from Huntington, a small town near the Canada-US border, south of Montreal.

About 300 tremors are recorded in eastern Canada each year. Most seismic activity on this stable North American continental tectonic plate is slight, ranking less than four degrees on the Richter scale.

Nah.

For real rock 'n roll you need plutonium rock band Disaster Area.

Disaster Area, from the Gagrakacka Mind Zones, are generally held to be not only the loudest rock band in the Galaxy, but in fact the loudest noise of any kind at all. Regular concert goers judge that the best sound balance is usually to be heard from within large concrete bunkers some thirty-seven miles from the stage, while the musicians themselves play their instruments by remote control from a completely different planet.

Volume knob goes to 12. . . . . . . . . . .

Ya got that right! They don't cotton to damnyankees around these here parts. When I moved here, I was considered a damnyankee too until I told them I was from the South also....the southern part of Canada!
Alex, you have a fine command of the "langue Francais" you could work for the "Nations Unies" Formidable!
