Tim Tams have finally arrived in Canada..
 

I contactedArnotts In OZ to find out where I could get some Tim Tams and this is what I got back...

Thank you for your enquiry regarding the availability of Arnott's
Biscuits
in Canada.

We're delighted to confirm that three varieties of Tim Tam biscuits -

We only get the first two here...Tesco's sell them and possibly Morrisons who bought out our Safeway supermarket chain.

Hmmmm ... it seems neither of those stores exists in Ontario, let alone Toronto. Guess we'd have to go to the stores in other Provinces, or start a TIM TAMS COURIER EXPRESS!!! :D:D:D

Like a howling, half-nekked, Yankee barbarian, what on God's green earth are Tim-Tams? Now I like a good biscuit as much as anybody (and yes, even as a H,HN,YB I know the proper meaning of "biscuit.") to dunk in my chai, but these sound really special. Y'all are making huge noise about them.

In the interim before I haul myself to the snowy north, can I get these things in the States?

Tim Tams are very similar in taste and style to what we produce here in the UK as Penguin biscuits [Penguins were originally made by Macdonalds and then McVities and now United Biscuits]. Think chocolate biscuit with filling. Only they come in several varieties, but we only get two in the UK BUT they may sell the whole range in the Australian Shop in London.

TIM TAMS are VERY similar in look and taste to COFFEE CRISP chocolate bars ... TIM TAMS are smaller and better!!! :D Chocolate and wafers layers covered in chocolate.

Commericial:

"How do you like your coffee?"

"Crisp!"

Penguins I know about, but it has been a long time. I know about McVities too, as I have an old friend who worked in their big plant in either Carlisle or Dumfries (she lives midway between those two cities). There is/was a McVities plant in the States some place but their product was a pale facsimile. I liked the digestive biscuit, particularly for dunking.

I'll keep looking.
