a Carrier packing case made in to a chicken house ?

alleramilitaria 08-03-06 00:28

nope, close but nope, and nope

Looks like someone built a homemade house-type body onto a CMP 3 ton or possibly 30cwt cargo box. Looks like they reversed the tailgate.
I'm pretty sure I can see the foot holes in the tailgate.

its late war rare plywood, made in hamalton ON, with a armor plate of 100 mm good for defeating a 88mm gun from 10 yards. and nope its not canadian, but its in that weight class and from WWII. :bang:

Didn't one of the American generals like Patton or Bradley have a box like this on the back of a CCKW or similar truck? I remember a scene from the movie "Patton" where he and Omar were having a conversation in one. In fact, wasn't there a truck for sale in the last year in "Supply Line" that was advertised as having the same kind of box on the back?

:confused CHIMO! :confused

hey richard, they are all over the place here, the problem people have are the lack of beds. they rot or are yanked in favor of a flat tray.
