good bye tasmania

Well no else would have survived Max in Tasmania but someone who had known him and lived with him for 30 years. As we landed I knew that the holiday was virtually over as the sweat was pouring out of him and 7 k's down the road from the airport a noise of find me a bed to lay down roard from his mouth. after 3 hours sleep in a pub we ventured off another 30 k's and another roar came find me somewhere to sleep and we stayed there for the night. We finally arrived in Port Arthur the next morning, you might think it is a great distance from hobart but only approximately 80 k's all up. We spent the morning here and then ventured off towards hobart again the roar came find me a bed I don't want to drive in the city we stayed the night. Next morning we went for a short drive up the Derwent river, quite pretty, and then went the chocolate factory, this cheered him a little. Then we went into the city as I had had enough of him and found a motel and stayed there for the next two nights. Max actually went to see a doctor about this complaint and got the correct medication for this condition an imbalance in the fluid in the ear and was feeling much better on our last day we went for a real drive and had a look at some scenery. All up we travelled 350 k's in the little car of which we did about 200 k's on the last day. Total fuel cost was $35 quite cheap do you think. The doctors comment was what a waste.

The old hut with snow on top of Mt Wellington. A sign that winter is on its way.
