carrierstealer
I would one day like to know exactly where those two Canadian carriers that came from Milton and went to a good home for restoration exactly came from. I know Charlie and I are racking our brains trying to figure that one out.
|
want a hint?
|
I thought they came from Brian Ashbury's place
|
"DING" we have a winner. :)
thats a great place to spend some money |
Carriers
Here I am rooting through Milton, making sure the guy on 9th line with the 15 cwt, the looney in the new car parts joint south of Derry Rd. with the 8 cwt, and the abandoned wreckers on hwy. 25, not to mention the religous freaks on Derry Rd. with the old flathead engines they want to give away, aren't holding out on me and
there really weren't any I missed around here, they were Brian's secret stash. Oh well. |
secret stash?
i dont know, i just ask one day for a price and he told me. check sent and i picked them up. he is a decent guy and the place is worth the drive to see his stuff. |
Carriers
I'm glad you got them! Good luck with the restoration.
I was just enjoying the situation. |
track links
Hi Mike,
Thanks for the information. I guess I was thinking outloud, My tracks seem ok just wondered if anyone was making new ones, Regards, Ron. |
no need really to make new tracks, there are loads out there looking for a home. :D
for the right price |
new tracks.
Hi Dave .
Are your tracks the same as ours over here? thanks for the information. Regards. Ron. |
Tracks
Ron, The track Dave is talking about is not the same as your track.
You will have to find track in Aust. The track pitch and footprint is the same, but the horns on your track link are further apart. because your wheels (rubber) is wider. Cheers, Lynn. |
tracks
Hi Lyn,
