Nyala Armoured Vehicle ??
Two Canadians were slightly shaken up today in Afghanistan by a roadside mine.According to Network News they were in the vehicle,just deployed in theatre.The vehicle ,they state can abborb the strenght of the aftereffects of two mines.Has anyone seen this vehicle.Logged into the internet but no info published about it.

Apparently, it's really good, and it obviously worked this time. I don't understand why we didn't buy more of these vs the G-Wagens. The latter are obviously a hell of a lot better than the Iltis, but given our current and probable future missions, the Nyala seems an obvious preference.

Has some really neat home grown pieces of armour and kit developed from decades of constant squirmishes and minor wars. I think the Rooricat wheeled tank would be a far superior vehicle to the Bison gun system for direct fast armoured support for our troops. It can operate with a couple of wheels blown off it , from mines, also.
