I've got an M-20. or at least a collection of parts reputed to be one, in the shop.
Good luck with the panniers. Do you have access to the site in Holland?

G'day Charlie,

charlie fitton 24-05-06 13:25

Where is Ontario?

...Why - in Canada of course.

And Maryhill is near the very centre of all things big and vital, the very hub of economic and cultural importance - TORONTO.

Just ask them if you don't believe me.

G'day Charlie, Ontario sounded a bit mexican, Lucky I didn't call you an American, Thats a bit like calling an Aussie a kiwi.
We must get to Canada one day. Isn't it a bit cold over there to be riding a bike.

Now, I'm an Aussie and have some good Kiwi friends, so I s'pose it's only fair to say it probably works both ways, so it may be like calling a Kiwi an Aussie too!

And yes, Canada in February can be VERY COLD! I've been there twice in that month, don't know what's wrong with my timing!

An American mate of mine said " Canadians are just like us only they don't have guns, but they do have health care!"

cold?..canada?? eh

hey jeff

it never gets cold enough in canada to stop one from riding a bike. i had a 360 bultaco with studded tires which i used as transportation for one winter. the coldest i recall was riding at -34c.....the trick is that once you freeze up a bit you no longer feel the cold!!

cheers from canada

You are right..
I remember back in the late 50's ,early 60's seeing an old guy with a Harley '45 and side car with a canvas and wood and plastic house affair built on it cruising down the 401 to Toronto during a blizzard...strange people back then..
Probably some old DR from WW2 ...
Thats where the Hell's Angels started.. from WW2 vets..

I wouldn't think of getting on a bike below 10deg C.
No pain no brain!
