German softskin ID

I was checking out a few army vehicles on the weekend and came across this one and am wondering what it is. It has German writing on the far side door. The picture isn't very good. My computer won't read this disk out of my Sony digital camera so I scanned the digital display on the camera and this is how it turned out.

Hi:
Your vehicle is a Borgward B2000A Heavy Field Car produced from around 1955 to about 1968. From 1962, produced by Buessing.

Dave, what model camera? I have a Sony Mavica CDR400 which writes to the mini-CDR or CDRW. I'm sure that you know that you have to 'Finalise' the CD before it can be read by your PC. MY PC has two CD drives and sometimes I find that these mini-CDs work better in one than the other.

Werner Oswald's book, Kraftfahrzeuge und Panzer der Reichswehr, Wehrmacht und Bundeswehr, give it as 1955 to 1961.

A vehicle much favoured by some re-enactors as it looks suitably German WWII in panzergrau and fools some of the people most of the time. . . . . . . . . .

My camera just uses a 3.5" floppy. The disk must be faulty but the camera can still read it. That seems strange.
That field car does have that Wehrmacht look to it and I'm sure it would fool lots of people, especially with a camo paint job. It jusy looks like Rommel should be sitting in the back seat! When I looked at it I guessed it as mid 50's though.
I wonder how it would have ended up in central Alberta? It must have been used in some NATO exercises at the Wainwright or Suffield training bases. The guy that owns it runs it around in the badlands near Drumheller. You can see he's got the front wheels chained up. That bit of machinery in front of it is a pretty nice carrier.
Out of curiosity, what would it be worth? I'm not sure if he'd let it go, but???

Oh dear.
That'll be Q.E.D. then. . . . . . . . . . .

Best I don't show The Baron PvH tomorrow or he'll drone on interminably.

Hi Clive:
Would be a Horch Kfz11 which is the Commander Car version of the Kfz15 Medium Personnel Car.
Quite rare to see one with the top/hood up.

Here´s one of those, it lives close to my home.

Looks like an utterly practical vehicle, carries all the family and friends in comfort.

Would this also be a Horch?

I think I'd go for a Kfz.11 Wanderer W11.
