Hi Guys finally some movement here at last I have the petrol tank fittings back from the engineers he did an excellent job on them,

Here is annother shot of them, The tanks are being made next week, and they will fit these parts also,finally seem to be getting somewhere, I have rebuilt the steering,and made up the bracketsfor the seats over the petrol tanks, when I fit the tanks I will then fit the seats,

Oh forgot to say that I have the original fuel caps and the flame arrester

Ron, have you had these made up from new, or did the engineer clean up the old parts? Very nice!

The parts are new I had them copied from that old tank that I had put in a previous post, that had been on loan from a friend to enable me to have them made, the tanks are being made next week the people at the sheet metal works are excellent trades men and do a first class job, Regards, Ron, |
suggestion
Ron, can I make the suggestion that you flip your fuel pickups over, and thread your elbows in on the other side. The result being that that the pipes will come into the elbow at a height more in keeping with the original.
As i said earlier, just a suggestion. Cheers. |
