Although our time zones are screwed up - well, yours, not ours of course :p - let me be the first to wish you a happy birthday from our hemisphere! You're rapidly joining the Olde Farte's Club, y'know! :D

Grey hairs

Happy Birthday "cat man",
Keith was given some more grey hairs for his Birthday as he spent the day teaching his son Sam to drive in the FGT. Keith did admit it had been a while since he had driven a CMP any real distance & that he had forgotten where the hand brake was.
Well done Keith. :teach:

Thanks!

Thanks for the birthday greetings!

As for grey hair... I have less grey hair than when I was 50. Trouble is of course I have less hair altogether, coupled with marginally less eyesight which might explain missing the handbrake when Sam had a drive. I bravely stepped outside onto the running board while he had a go. He got it in the end once I'd worked out what was wrong! I was ready to kill the ignition if need be of course. Sam is almost 14 and can barely push the clutch all the way down. The clutch in the FGT is fairly worn and engages near the top of it's travel which makes the job of a learner all that much harder.
He recently had a drive of Max's C15 "Tickets" which is a delight to drive the other day and had no problems.

Dear Keith

Happy birthday and all the best from Switzerland too! Look forward to have a drive in your FGT again, before it gets worn out by your teenagers ;-)

Have a ripper party!
Chris

Thanks guys

I'm 51 and sadly nobody gave me even a limber, let alone a 25 pounder.

Thanks for the card, Chris! And Karmen for the flowers. :D
