Greg:

I'll keep your requirement in mind as I scour for such manuals.

Keep me in mind if you run across the manual for an Onan LS-6.

Jon,

If your genny really is an Onan, shouldn't it be able to "take care of itself"? I heard they are "handy"...

generator

is it leaking from the gas tap
some of those old gas taps had a cork seal inside that shrunk and caused them to leak
i had a late 40s triumph motorcycle that had cork seals in the gas taps , you can swell the cork seal by boiling in hot water
i would leave the cork seal inside the tap as its bloody hard to get back in after
someone else may have some better suggestions if its a cork seal???

Ken...thanks for good advice, however RH Clarke and I were spoofing about a biblical reference to Onan, who...well look it up!
