Here's another amazing link :) When I can't sleep... this is what I sometimes do...surf and get fascinated by amazing message boards and sites. (I hope I didn't already post this site... I know I've been in there before) |
Re. Links
Hi Hot Stuff Kartman
Good sites but a month of Sundays to read them. Thats the trouble with the net - information overload. Anyway one good thing about you having some warm weather, its defrosting your normally frozen Canadian faculties and letting you come up with some good research material. Now you can understand why us Aussies with our good weather always have loose faculties to enable us to conduct brilliant research all the time. All you need to do now is consume Vegimite and we'll let you into our country, under supervision of course. Bratty Bob |

Sorry Bob...
...but to increase the output of computers they require cooling not heating. I live in the arctic and it has been 30c here for a number of days now and looking like a week or so more...before it snows of course. This heat has made my faculties slow, and I can attest that many others are suffering the same. Saw a bear burst in to flames yesterday, beat the fire out with a duck, of course.sorry Alex, no Caribou stories becasue theya re smart and go north for the summer, too bad all you southerners can't fiure that one out ,ha. Its currently 20c and its 4am in the , well, A.M.!

Sean
When you said Its currently 20c and its 4am in the , well, A.M.! You forgot to mention that the sun had been up for at least an hour and a half... People that have never been that far north don't realize that the heat loads because of the long daylight hours are tremendous... And talk about great garden produce.... One tomato per bushell.... Peas the size of baseballs.... Beer in quarts..... |
Brocolli and cauliflower...
... They grow like weeds up here , zuchini too, well don't get me started. Though the land of the midnight sun is resting a bit now. The sun sets about 10pm and rises around 530 or so now. I was just griping about the fact that I am up and not of my own volation.
Though the real dark only lasts about an hour, exactly when my friend ,Mr bear , and I had a drag race this morning. Happy to say I won.:D If anyone wants to try the best moose sausage ( I think that is why Mr B was sniffing around )or caribou jerky or sausage they should phone Northern Fancy Meats in Yellowknife and have some sent to them, incredible!
