Wanted: Assorted Radios and equipment

I guess really this is a wish list for my FFR land rover, but if you don't say what you want, you'll never find it eh ;) . Somethings I can afford to buy now if I can find them, others, well, money is always in limited stock in my account :p

Antennas
Still need 2x AS-1729 antennas made up of a GRC6067 base (same as MX-6707 I understand) and 2 antenna sections, an AS-1730 Lower Antenna element and AT-1095 Upper Antenna element. I could do with a 3rd one to replace an other than healthy one that I have. A few tie down kits would be handy as well.

Radios
I'm after 2 for the time being depending a little on what I can find.

GRC-160
made up of hte following components.
AN/PRC-77 radio
AM-2060 power/mount
plus cables etc. Vehicle was often fitted with 2 160 sets. maybe eventually ;)

AN/VRC-46
RT-524 radio
RT-524 power/mount
plus cables etc etc.

I'd like to get the extr akit to set up a AN/VRC-49 which is basically 2 connected AN/VRC-46 units connected to retransmit a signal. basically a repeater, but that is a lot of extra radio gear.

Like to help you out but (and I'm not sticking in the needle here) I've got only one of everything you seek. It has taken me the better part of 4 years to finally assemble all the goodies into two fully operational units. (see list below).

I do have a couple of spare power connectors for the power tray.

As time goes by and you hopefuly get successful in parts acquisition, perhaps I can be of help.

That is a great photo, both in the one image. Almost the same aged vehicle as well. Thanks for that :D :D

Thanks for those stuart, i'll have to posts some pics of how it all fits into a Land rover FFR when I get a chance.

Here is the land rover way of doing it :p

These are a couple of interior photos (minus radios) of a Series 3 FFR. Radios mount onto the tables, batteries in the lockers behind the doors on the outside, and a generator under the bonnet. 4 antennas moutned on the body.
