Canadian ferret on ebay

There's a Canadian ferret on ebay.item number 250079010709. It ends tomorrow. Too bad Canadians can't get it..eh? I would scoop it up in a heartbeat! They are quite rare to own as an individual, as most are in museums.....and don't run.
Have a good weekend.

Why can't a Cdn get it? Is it because the buyer says Sells to: US, or because the US has become so anal about allowing the export of anything remotely military these days?

I had a Cdn ferret a few years back. I listed it for sale in Canada only for about 6 months, and after no interest at all here, I listed it for sale in the US. Sold within a month.

Dan....

It says 'money order from a US or Canadian bank'... seems to me, you can buy it and shipping it is up to you. If you recall, Perry Kitson brought a Sexton up from Georgia a couple of years back... talk to him ref the paper trail involved.

Good luck!

The U.S has a big problem with exporting anything that might/could be used against them. I guess they figure it's best kept in the Ozarks than in the Crazy north. I'm surprised they sell us razor blades.
Any way.....Rob, I have some recent pics of your ferret. It seems someone wanted to sell it not long ago. I contacted the seller, asked him to get back to me with info on U.S policies on exporting goods, and he never got back to me. It must have been too much hastle. PM me if you would like them.

I doubt that there'd be much problem taking a Canadian made M V out of the States. The big problem is for them to import a US made one. Go figure.
