Airfilters
 
Could this by any chanse be airfilters for the Morris Light Recce Car??
It states airfilter, Morris on them

Rolf,

They are Vokes filters, very similar in design to the rare ones used on the motor cycles.

For use on motorcycles?

They are big....

Please tell a novise some more on this!
Any photos in use?

I tought it could be some sort of airfilter for the comnpartent/crue in an armored vehicle?

No, not those fitted to motorcycles :confused
I meant that the desert filters made by Vokes for the British wartime Norton, BSA, Matchless, etc. was of similar and smaller design. They used an inlet chamber with a number of ports in it, felt tubes were attached to the ports, the tube was folded over a bar at half its length then attached to another port. End result being the air is drawn through the felt tube from the outside.
