Good solid American trucks popular with collectors world-wide these days. Have never seen an ambulance version, though!

The DUKW on his site looks delightful, if a bit expensive. I've been on those in Lake Ontario when most of you were in short pants. Great fun... :)

The French forces used these as a mainstay of their vehicle fleet well up to the early 1980's. Every conceiveable version plus some of their own unique ones. The command 352 at the bottom of the page being a purely French post WW2 one.
