Australia's gift to Canada
TORONTO, Feb. 19 /CNW/ - Terry Irwin, wife of the late "Crocodile
Hunter", Steve Irwin announced Saturday that Indian River Reptile Zoo would be
the recipient of a breeding pair of Perentie Monitors from the Australian Zoo.
This gift was in gratitude for Canada's early support of Steve's films.
Bry Loyst, Curator, Indian River Reptile Zoo accepted the award and said
"We are honoured and proud to provide a home for these unique captive bred
Australian reptiles that are rarely seen in zoos. Our CAZA accredited facility
will raise funds to build a special enclosure for these unique 6 ft lizards."

Err.... a long-haired blonde with a gun on CSI Miami. She has an attitude. Ironically, it was my daughter who turned me on to this program. She probably knows me better than I know myself. :)
