Lindsey body PATENT, C60X 6x6 workshop

While searching for information on the Chevrolet C60X Workshop for a modeling project, I stumbled upon the original Patent for the Lindsey type body constructions, dating from 1938/1940.

Wow Alex! Where did you find it? Are larger scans available?

There are several C60X's in the Netherlands, contact me offline for owner's details.

Groet,
Hanno

Yes, David has got it right.....it's www.espacenet.com.

I visit it from time to time for work, but there is even some nice info to be found for our hobby.
You can download the whole Lindsey patent from there, but somehow it didn't work on my end. I was only able to download the drawings, but it would be just as interesting to read the text.

A search for Holmes also has some nice results:

Also a search for Straussler resulted in some hits, but sadly his amphibious stuff is not available online.

I will take on your offer of the contacts for the C60X, but I also hope to find on or two in Beltring in three weeks. David and Hanno, will you be there, too?

Is this for Graham? If so let me know and I'll see what I can get in the way of scans off the manuals if you need them.

Sean, indeed that's the first one I will be doing for Graham, although I still have to choose a specific body layout, but that will depend on what kind of information I can find on the tools inside.

Yesterday I was at the Overloon museum with Graham and had a chance to photocopy the images from the C60X parts list in the museum Library, but there wasn't much interesting stuff in the parts list, modeling-wise. I would be very interested if you have any info on the body and the equipment inside.
