G'day All, Colin thanks for the pix there was B/all on the TV re the event, and I was at work (16 hours I'm a R/N) and my 7 restored ex-military Land Rovers stayed at home all tarped up snug as, anyway it might all come together one day cheers Dennis :sheep:
PS has one of the half tracks got a gun mounted?? in the parade!

You are half right from two directions.
They both have 50 cals. They are also both wood replicas.
Still have to be licensed. Worse than licensing a real one.

There are different views on weapons. This is my opinion.
What we are restoring are vehicles of war which were meant to be armed so to be fully restored it needs a gun. These are only replicas so no harm can be done.
You seemed surprised to see this so I include a better picture for you.

G'day All, Colin, thanks for the better shot (scuse the pun) of the replica, I'm cheering because this is NSW, and I would really like to have some replica firearms as well for a couple of my vehicles cheers and thanks again, Dennis :sheep:

Hi All,

I used to have a de activated .30 cal on my Ferret, it really looked the part, but sometimes it attracted the wrong type of person at Static displays.

Anyway Ferret is now sold, i'm just a jeep and M37 person these days.

I attended the reserve forces parade, it was one heck of a great day.
