MLU FORUM - San Fransisco earthquake?

Hi Folks, I just read there was a 4.1 earthquake, just TWO MILES from Oakland. That's pretty close and thank goodness it wasn't a bigger one!!!

Oakland is where my daughter's Dad and Stepmom live so am naturally concerned. Anyone in here from SF area effected and know any more details???

There were reports of items falling off shelves and broken glass, but no immediate reports of serious damage or injuries.

The earthquake struck at 4:42 a.m. about 2 miles east of Oakland, according to the U.S. Geological Survey, and it could be felt on both sides of the San Francisco Bay.
