Radiator overflow
Does anyone know what the rad overflow container looks like on a 44 MKII ? At least I think it had one as there is a pipe going down the side of the rad. Was it like a T16 ? mine was removed I think so that they could put the flame thrower hoses there. I think?

Ford Parts
Ledsel,
The coolant overflow tank on a 1944 Mk II Carrier is the standard Ford CMP overflow tank found on the trucks. Squarish, it fits under the jump seat behind the commanders position. The T-16 overflow tank is quite a bit different. Stewart |
Would someone have a photo of one? Is it covered or is it just in the open. I see bolt holes in the division plate and the floor is that where it was bolted?

Ledsel,
Here is a shot of the area directly behind the commanders position that shows the overflow tank. The tank is bolted to the division plate just above the cross tube. Stewart |
Thats great . Does it have some sort of drain or top cap/vent?

FUEL TANK
Hello,
The dimensions of the overflow tank are the same as the fuel tank, so when you have a bad fuel tank and the tops are still good you could make a overflow tank from it. :witch Green Greetings Hendrik  |
