I suspect Miriam is actually a man (know alot about engines)...and a cross-dresser to boot (in denial).

I don't care who or what Miriam is - she (?) gets to the nub of the problem straightaway.

Can Geoff get her on the site as a guest expert, to whom we can all go with the gritty issues that no one else can solve ?

I suspect Miriam has overlooked the main problem altogether! I don't know how Miriam could just tell this poor lady to check her fuel lines, when she obviously needs to check the ignition side of things, too! Could be Coil, Condenser, Loose wires, or if it's a modern vehicle Sensors, ECU or Injectors.

Miriam plainly hasn't read the letter fully, otherwise she would have realised what the point of the problem is! :teach:
