Aust C60L Stores truck
 

On the weekend I came across this vehicle, which is in quite good condition (NO it is not for sale!!) and thought I would share it with you. Bought from a Fire Brigade in NSW, it has a makeshift body and last ran 3 to 4 years ago. The red paint is peeling off the Army green underneath, it is a TRUCK-3 TON- STORES AUST- NO- 2, C60L. This vehicle has the earlier civilian rectangular dash with the data plate only half stamped. It still has the original rear canvas curtain and mudflaps.

Darrin did you take any other photos of the rear curtin with it in the closed position from the inside of the cab, that would be good to see

I noticed the War Office No. is 52. On Keith's old cmp site 52 is listed as a Tanker on C60s chassis. This truck looks like a C60L to me.
