You can have a copy of my Carrier sprocket Cad drawing

Hi All,

As you know I have reverse engineered a lot of stuff in the past for the cmps and carriers.

I am offering my Carrier Sprocket CAD Drawing in DXF format to anyone who wants it worldwide to make it open source material.

Please reply to this post and type the email you want to recieve it at in the text field.

Next week before I move from my house in Innisfil I will do a mass email with the attachment.

Thanks

Rob Groves.

(P.S. the sprocket is 1" thick and needs to be cut with water in 4140 steel)

I'm also interested in getting a copy of the CAD files when you post them out.

Appreciate your sharing the research and design/programming work you've done.

Thanks Guys

Hey, I see I have been warmly recieved... thats nice :)

And now I realize it was not good to ask people to post their email addresses here... thanks for PM,ing me... thats a better idea.
The move didn't go to smooth but I have the computer set up again in its new home and will send off the new Carrier "open source" Cad drawing tonight :)

Wee! Free Stuff! Ya gotta love it!

My email has been out there for the last 10 years. Not worth the bother at this point to jump through extra hoops to hide it now.

If anyone can educate me on this, I would welcome an email off line. I think it may be a case of the barn door and the horse. :)

Cheers all.

Hi Jim...

... I cinna edjumacate yu much, but I do know this. Unscrupulous fellas can set up their computers to troll websites and search for email addresses. Then they can spam you relentlessly or sell your address to spammers who will spam you relentlessly. The PM stuff is password protected and therefore offers greater security from random trolling.
Correct me if I am wrong gents.

Emailing a member through the MLU Email link works the same way - the addresses can't be read by the spiders which look for stuff like that; what the bugs look for is the '@' sign in the raw text - even just replace it with a '_at_' or similar, which can be manually changed back before sending a message, and they won't recognise the text string as an email address.

There, consider yerself edjumacated... :ergh:

outgoing email

I have posted a surprise email to all that have signed up so far!

It is the front armour DXF drawings I did from original armour, It has rivit holes and all other slots etc... BUT this is not perfect like the Sprocket... damn close but not perfect so check everything thoroughly before dropping the big Dough to have it cut!

I have included the original instructions to a locale laser cutter named Dennis.

Have fun with it Gentlemen

P.S.

Also included are view port shutters, side armour, back armour and tow plate.

Ya see...

...I don't have to know what I am talking about, I just have to post something and you can be damn sure someone will post the correct answer. That is how I get all my answers :-)
