HNIC
Alex, Gracies has at least 10 TV sets including a gargantuan projector TV front and centre. Chances are, they will be broadcasting the game - the Rangers are in town. Just wear your old RCAF bathrobe, your fluffy slippers and you will feel right at home...
|
For me, either can work. Dec 1 similar to Rob's comment. Dec 7 I probably won't get there before 1745 or so.

CALL THE PARADE,MR. CHAIRMAN...I'LL BE THERE.. :drunk: :remember :support |
"Hmmm, it's December 7th and there's a nip in the air"
Friday works best for me. My guest is the well-known Colin MacGregor Stevens, of BC. Colin is in town researching the Ferret and looks forward to meeting the ROTters. Clive |
Gunner Is Back!
I just spoke to Mike, and will pre-empt his reply. He heads for sunnier climes before 7 Dec...therefore, 1 Dec, 1800 ish at Gracies is when we will meet.
|
Short Notice
I might be buggered here, lads... with only four days to go, return airfare this Saturday/Sunday looks to be topping $500 at this time of year and that's just bloody ridiculous.
Other option is a bus if I can rationalise spending 12 hours on buses in two days... Will advise accordingly either way NLT Thursday. |

Your Batman awaits your decision.. PM me ....when you decide.. (No Digging,or pushing the damned bus, either.!!) :remember :support :salute: |
ACK, WILL ADVS SOONEST.

Slide Show
To allow Alex undivided hockey time, I will dispense with my traditional slide show for this one Gracie's Call... however, I do have lots of interesting pics of MVs in Kenya (some sporting illicit MLU stickers (including my landrover)) as well as some nice pics and video of my new toys (yes, plural!)
Anticipation being the best part of four by four play, I shall keep the news to myself until Sat night! Its good to be home but this cold slushie crap sucks... best be heading to sunnier climes ASAP! Mike |

Just for giggles, I've invited a neighbour to see if he gets sucked into the vortex of the CMP hobby...I have nice orange F15 that needs some attention...heh, heh, heh... |
This thread has gone from a poll to ....?
Let's confirm that there will be a Gracie's parade on Saturday, Dec 1 at 1800hrs. I will have Colin Stevens of BC with me as Colin is staying at my place while he does some Archives research. How about a roll-call of others who will be attending? I will also drop a line to Jason Ginn (owner of Don Dingwall's old C8) as well as an e-mail to Stuart Fedak (Iltis Club). |

Clive's Poll
I will be there along with an unsuspecting neighbour, whose hobby is collecting and selling sports cards. Some folks have weird hobbies...

Great Night at Gracie's
Oh my. What a fine bevy of beauties strutting around at Gracies tonight! The waiting staff was stunning to say the least. Thankfully, we had plenty of Rotter curmudgeons to balance out the beauty.
The bevy (poor quality of photo due to distraction factor): http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r...larke/bevy.jpg We welcomed Gunner back home to the land of ice and snow, so he inflicted another slideshow on us. He will sound off on his latest acquisition later on. We also welcomed three newcomers to the Rotter Sanctum sanctorum: Colin a visitor from lotus land, and two locals, Graham and son Fraser. Group shot: http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r...arke/brig1.jpg The star of tonight's show was our girl Brigitte. She seemed to have a bit of an Irish lilt to her voice, and she put up with our shenanigans with a laugh and smile. http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r...arke/brig2.jpg The party was just getting into full swing when I had to leave to pickup my four year old from the babysitter. Clive suggested that since he was four, he should take the bus home and let his old man drool over the bevy...it took a few minutes to make up my mind. Anyway, it was a great (if not short) night at Gracies. Others are sure to chime in later. |

She is smarter than you...prettier than you..younger than you..has more money than you.... What the hell do you see in her..?? |
