CMP M-6 CCKW DUKW Military Wood Steering Wheel Item number: 330255159894

This is a used original 18" outside diameter wood steering wheel for WWII military vehicles, was original equipment on Canadian CMP and Chevrolet M-6 bomb trucks, it will also fit Chevy G506, GMC CCKW and DUKW and possibly other vehicles in that era, make sure it will work for you before bidding. The steering column shaft opening is keyed and tapered 1" at bottom 7/8" at top. Metal has been sand blasted, primered and painted. Wood is original, has had a few coats of linseed oil applied, wood does have cracks that run around the majority of the wheel, I have tried to show these cracks in some of the pictures. This steering wheel is usable, with periodic applications of linseed oil this wheel should last a long time. If you have any questions please ask before bidding.
