Just when I thought I had a "killer" question ... the answer pops up on another section of the forum.
I was about to ask if anyone knew abut the "Lorry mounted excavator" which was one of the items of plant in an RAF Airfield Construction Wing; when Clif posted the photo below on the Softskin Forum.
So come on ! who can tel me more - did the RAF use this samne model or did they have their own.
P.S. hope you dont mind me borrowing your photo Cliff.
