Sadly, he passed away a couple of years ago. I read his early books aged 13 . I used to take them to school and read them during spare periods . The early books are absolute classics , now worth quite a tidy sum.

He had a very friendy nature , always liked to chat . He was a noted artist too, his paintings of riparian scenes always sold quickly . He moved to Tasmania just after the war , back to where he had done did his initial piloting traning at Western Junction ( Launceston) .
