It looks pretty good.
The 1/2 " dimension (top right) is actually the head of a 3/8" dia BSF countersunk screw, so it requires a 3/8" clearance hole, that is then countersunk.
The stud is also 3/8" BSF threaded, with a wing nut. From memory, the other end of the stud protrudes from the other side of the steel block, and is also threaded to take a 3/8" nut.
Does any of that help? I think there is a 3/4 dia. collar integral with the stud, at a guess, 3/8' thick. Does that work?
