Well, I made a trip to the MTO to register the truck...seems pretty straight forward and should prove to be painless

. Provide the bill of sale...make an affidavit to the commisioner of oathes in the MTO office, check the data base to ensure no duplicate number and voila...registered. Oooops forgot the tax man....pay toll and proceed

. I will confirm tomorrow how it really went. Got a quote for Antique auto insurance and $125.00 a year with a maximum 5000 km seems quite reasonable. Sooooo it looks like I will make my deadline of 14 Oct. I spoke with a local garage who safetied my M38 Jeep without signal lights (because it came from the factory that way) and they are looking forward to signing off on my truck. It is always wise to grease the skids with "Timmies and Tim-bits".

Sorry OZ it is a Canuck thing. Here are a couple of pics I took today for the insurance people...oh ya...I got an appraisal done as well. Looks like all the ducks are in line sooooo
Oh sooo close....
cheers from Windsor Ontario
