Romulus. Got your PM on HMVF but unable to be allowed a reply to you.
Worth $15k? = £10k
Answer = No

Don't know why it is in silly white. But that is easily corrected. Interior looks complete. I don't know about the wires, it could be for an electric wiper, given that the normal vaccuum wiper is a bit feeble. Or it may have been a pump to squirt paint solvent from the visor glass.

Recently a tidy pig in UK was sold on ebay for about £3.5k & was exported to a PD in US. What the shipping & hassle cost I don't know. But the price for the white one seems far too high normally, I know there is a rarity value in US but on the other hand prices must ease down with the financial restraints that most of the world is under.

The most important things to check are:

1. That the tyres are good. Those runflats are no longer made.

2. That it is driveable in all gears & with the FWD lever horizontal, not just with it leaning down. ie with it horizontal it is in 2WD & driving on the rear axle. They are notorious for rear axle problems. If it can only drive with the lever down then you are just driving on the front & the rear axle is bust.

3. Check that the engine runs not only sweet but the compressions of all 6 cylinders is good. It should be 90-110 psi with no more than 10 psi variation between them. 80psi is minimal acceptable as a Field Standard. Be very wary of equally low readings on 2 & 3 or 4 & 5. This would be a sign of the narrow isthmus of gasket begining to blow between those cylinders around the exhaust valves.

If that all checks out, any problems in the rest can be overcome more easily. If it all checks out & everything mechanically is up together, then maybe go for it given you & it are over there already!
