Going through the AWM war diaries ... gems are there . I've been looking at HQ Middle East AIF .The WD number for the said stolen Morris seems to be a bit brief .
One court marshal was covened by Blamey himself .. common crimes : forging pay book ..very harsh penalties eg 2 years hard labour !
