I asked about he Ford script on an old thread and here's Keith Webb's response.
"All the features fit and the 'FORD' script makes it a 1943 model. The 1944/5 models had 'FORD CANADA' "
The round roof hatch started in 1944 also.
I have several Cab 13 F15As and none of them have serial numbers stamped in the frame. My F15A Cab 11 and Cab 12 all have serial numbers where Kirk mentions and these are the engine serial numbers.
The engine number is also stamped into the top slope of the clutch housing on the front of the transmission. You have to bear in mind that it might not be the original tranny though.
