As for camouflage patterns, I would opt for a nice Italian theatre scheme, introduced in April 1943, which used bold patterns of black, or SCC 7 (a dark olive green), over a base of SCC 5 "Light Mud", plus an air recognition roundel on the roof. Buy

Sicily and Italy 1943-1945 for contemporary camouflage schemes and colour paint chips so you can have the correct colours mixed up.
