I also attended an auction sale today at Griffith although I was too cheap to buy anything, hauled a trailer there and back for nothing buta day out
The Chev engine sold for just over $800, the oil was clean but no aircleaner for over three years. The pile of rims which contained 5 20" blitz rims and the other blitz rims were bought by a Farther/Son from Wagger area who are doing up a blitz, they have my number so I hope to catch up in the future. The rest of the ford gear went to restorers. The chev diffs, ger box and transfur case were not for seperate sale as they were included with the prune harvester. I also found out that I have passed the bug on, after seeing my blitz at the Batlow show a local has bought a blitz and is scouting for parts to restore it, again I hope to have future contact.
