I have some of these 1943 dated pouches: ZL & T Ltd Canada ..never issued
3 for $10 ... plus postage
They are marked FRONT and REAR .. slight differences .... one type has what looks like a brass belt loop . I believe there was a shoulder strap ..you wore them forward and aft style across your shoulder ...Not sure, I think they are bren magazine pouches .. I'm sure somebody here knows exactly what they are
PS they are a bit scrunched up from years of storage .
