I found this photo from the Northern Territory Australia libary while searching though the Pictures Australia Website

It shows a 3 ton 12 cab CMP towing an 18 pound gun on the Stuart Highway at Manton River in the Northern Territory during WW2. I thought it unusual to see a gun being towed by a General Service 3 ton CMP.
