Default Brass profile advice

As can be see elsewhere on the forum this subject comes up every now and again.

If it's the profile I think Bob is talking about it fairly closely resembles the windscreen frame used by Holden here in Australia for Chevrolet CMPs. it has a slightly curved front and back and although it is a good permanent substitute is not as wide as the original and consequently is not identical. It is also quite different to the Canadian frames which is flat with a small radius on the edges. The problem here with the genuine Holden profile is it was not very resistant to rust (unlike the Canadian ones) and consequently you see a lot of Chevs here with Canadian Ford frames. Remember in Australia Holden built the entire cab unlike Ford Australia.

I believe the brass framing is a commonly available shower screen profile.
