8.25-10 tyres
The tyres originally fitted to 6pdr's were 8.25-10 runflats. This heavier construction meant that these tyres tend not to display the tell-tale signs of a tyre that's well past it's use-by date. They wont have signifigant cracks or other obvious signs of failure, but DON'T USE THEM AT FASTER THAN WALKING PACE!! If the tyres still have good tread, keep them for static display, and try another solution for towing the gun, like my next reply....
