Default Since you asked

The window throwout bit I need is the piece that attaches the throwout arm to the window frame, secured with a staked clevis pin. I asked the machine shop out in the country to cobble one up for me, but he's a busy guy, and last time I checked in with him, a couple of weeks back, he still hadn't got around to it. I have had to acquire or fabricate all the throwout and bracket bits as all that was missing or broken on the truck when I got it.

As for doors, on reflection I realize the side and rear doors are not interchangeable - hinges and latch are on opposite sides. - I am hoping to find a rear door, or at least the bottom part, with hinges on right-hand side. Otherwise, I will have to try to patch together the old door and find, or have fabricated, a pair of hinges.

I phoned the welder today, and apparently has done the links, so when I find out how much he wants for the job, and how much it would cost to re-work them to 8-inch opposite ends, I will decide whether to have him do that and buy the 9.25" pair from powerwagons.

Ought to have my tanks back soon: I have am having a pair of good tanks made up from three tanks; the original LH tank, which was not too bad, an acquired LH tank which had original been a RH tank which Bill Spence had had refurbished and converted to LH, then decided he didn't need, so I am having converted back to RH, and the original RH tank, which was rusted and rotted out, which donates the filler pipe, etc. Confused yet? No idea what the shop will end up charging me for all that, but I will probably take the rad to them next for a checkup and refurb.
