Despite E-bay's reputation as "E-Pay", there are very some absolute bargains to be found. I stocked up on a seller's stock of ex-WD taps that were dated 1940 or 41 and Broad Arrow marked. I assume these will be good quality. He had 1of 5/8" UNF RH, 4of 5/8" UNF LH, and 4of 7/8" BSF. They were still cosmoline wrapped and un-used and he wanted AU$3ea. I bought the lot! They should last my lifetime.
