1963 Model Reliant 3/25...used the Reliant all-aluminium 750cc derivative of the Austin 7 engine. You could drive one a m/c licence as though it was a m/c plus sidecar combo but strictly speaking if reverse was blanked-off...car licence holders had no such restriction. The loonies that drove it went from London down to Devon in extreme conditions via Salisbury Plain. The snow was unbelievably high in places. The temps never rose above freezing that winter between December 1962 and end March 1963. It snowed Xmas Day I remember. We had a blizzard in west London near Heathrow Airport one day!
