The hand mic is a Tannoy power mic. It's probably 1943/44. It has a carbon element and is designed to hook to the intercom system. I wouldn't use it with the radio.

Control unit 17 is used in AFVs to connect wireless sets 31/38/88 to the 19 set system.

Junction distribution box #3 was made originally for the driver/co-driver to buzz the commander regardless of which radio he is using. It attaches to the intercom system, not the radio, by 5 wires. It was later mounted on the outside of an AFV with a telephone enabling infantry to talk to the commander.
