To give you an idea of the placement on the rear of the carrier the photo below is of a right side up carrier
of the Highland Light Infantry of Canada (England, 19 May 1944), although a unit of the 3 Cdn Inf Div, the photo shows where the Arm of Service and Formation signs go on the carrier rear.
