Default Equipment of the WWII Tommy - New expanded and revised edition

We put together the first equipment book six years ago and they've been out of print for a few years now. But I've finally finished putting together a revised and expanded edition which is now available.

Some areas of the old book have been revised and there is roughly 250 new pages of information that has been added. The books also contain a greater number of wartime photographs showing more of the items in use that are being discussed. While most chapters have more content added to them, there is also a new chapter that covers field and camp equipment. The chapter on helmets was revised and expanded, but then pulled out. It will now be in the uniform book when it's revision and expansion is completed. The weapons book is next in line though so it might be awhile.

Overall the new books have 664 pages including the front matter and index. Format is still black and white with the exception of the color section. There are roughly 1300 photographs in the expanded edition, both static shots of items and original period shots.

The Web site linked below has a chapter by chapter comparison of the original book and the new expanded edition. Plus links on that page for placing orders if you are interested in a copy.
